The Company originated as Alma Oil Co. a wholesale and retail major oil company jobber in the early 1970's. It had a number of gasoline retail locations, and bulk delivery transport capabilities for various customers through out the central Michigan area. Since its inception the Company has been managed and operated by the same family ownership. In the early 1990's the Patriarch of Alma Oil Co. sold the ownership to his son Mr. Jeffrey Plott who at that time made a commitment to grow the organization from a retail jobber / small bulk transporter, to a multiple unit Common Carrier operation. The company is engaged in the transport of wholesale and retail petroleum products for major oil companies using overflow service carriers, and a variety of branded and unbranded jobbers, and customers through out Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. Most recently our company has expanded into the crude oil transportation market in Texas, New Mexico, and Michigan. Over the last nineteen years the organization has grown to a 78 unit operation with equipment domiciled throughout the states of Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. In Michigan, equipment is based in Alma, Lansing, Jackson, Muskegon, Detroit, Port Huron, Buckley, Cadillac, Fife Lake, Flint, Gaylord, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Niles, Ottawa Lake, Sanford, and St. Johns. Ohio units are domiciled in Toledo, and Indianapolis is the home for our Indiana operation. We have a multiple bay repair facility in St. Louis, Michigan, located a short distance from our Corporate offices.
